Tracking
Clock in, take a break, clock out
- One tap to clock in. Start the work timer with one tap, and clock out with one more when the shift ends.
- Unpaid breaks. Record as many unpaid breaks as you need, and they stay out of your hours.
- Always in view. The running timer stays in a notification while you work.
- Nothing lost. Close or restart the app, and the running shift comes back as it was.
- Fix it later. Forgot to clock in? Add the missed shift, or correct a saved one.
Timesheets
A timesheet you can trust
- Any period. Review your work by day, week, two weeks, month or custom dates, and filter it by job.
- Net hours. Totals show your hours after unpaid breaks.
- No double counting. Overlapping or incomplete records are flagged, not quietly added twice.
- An honest record. Timed, manual and edited entries are kept apart, so you can see which is which.
Jobs and pay
Every job, every rate
- Jobs and clients. Track work by job or client, as many as you need.
- A rate for each job. Save an optional hourly rate and currency for each one.
- Rates stay as recorded. A shift keeps the rate it was recorded at, even if the job's rate changes later.
- Expected pay. See expected gross pay for any period, without mixing currencies.
Pay figures are estimates based on the rates you enter. Check them before you rely on them.
Privacy
Your records, in your hands
- No account, no ads. Nothing to sign up for, and no ads, ever. Google Play's Data safety section for the app says No data collected.
- On your phone. Your work records stay on your device unless you export them or save a backup. Nothing is sent to [r]think.
- Works offline. Tracking, timesheets and backups need no connection. The app uses the internet only for Google Play purchases.
- Backups you control. Save a backup file and preview it before restoring. Always free.
- Delete everything. Delete all work data from the device whenever you choose.
Hours Tracker is a personal work log. It does not track your location, clock you in automatically or monitor employees.

Where the others fall short
- Work LogShows ads. Several jobs, CSV and PDF exports, and backup need its separate Pro app, and it may share your email address and collect your approximate location.
- Time Clock: Easy TrackerNo ads, but it shares device IDs for advertising, and may collect your precise location, name, email address and photos.
- TimesheetNo ads, but its Pro is a subscription, and it may collect your contacts, files, photos and email address, and shares device IDs.
Also in Hours Tracker: it flags overlapping or incomplete records instead of counting them twice, keeps the rate each shift was recorded at, tells timed, manual and edited entries apart, previews a backup before restoring it, and never mixes currencies in pay totals.
From each app's Google Play listing in the US on 31 October 2026: its description, the Contains ads label and the developer's own Data safety section.
